In fact, its not underground at all, the Utiladors are built at ground level while most of the Magic Kingdom is actually built 15 feet above ground level. What do they use these Utiladors for than you may be asking yourself. Well, have you ever wondered why you never see characters walking to the stage and they always just seem to magically appear? You can thank the Utiladors for that. They also house essential things such as training rooms, storage for food and Disney merchandise, area's to keep the trash created by the park, and even an area for cast members to just sit back and relax every once and awhile. If all of this excites you and you absolutely have to see this underground lair for yourself, Walt Disney World offers the "Keys to the Kingdom Tour" where they will actually take you below the Magic Kingdom, don't say you weren't warned though, photography of any kind is not allowed!!!
